Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!

Maureen McCormick aka Marcia Brady has published a tell-all memoir of her life (which apparently has had more in common with Requiem for a Dream than The Brady Bunch). The more salient details include attending “cocaine binges and parties at the Playboy Mansion and the home of Sammy Davis Jr,” and trading sex for drugs (apparently she was into free-basing cocaine, which I suppose was a necessity; when you have a broken nose, it's easier to smoke cocaine than snort it "Oh my nose!"). Best of all was the confession that she allowed an older man she met at the Playboy Mansion to videotape her naked in exchange for drugs. Some years ago my friend Bic emailed me a photo which he purported to be a naked Maureen McCormick. At the time I assumed it was her head photo-shopped onto another body. In light of Maureen's confession, perhaps I shouldn't doubt it's authenticity. Damn you Bic, you might have been right all these years. More important, somewhere out there is a videotape of a naked Marcia Brady! I have a new calling! Like the noble Sir Galahad, I shall devote my life to a quest for this Holy Grail of Pop Culture.
