Happy Birthday, Jack LaLanne





The man is 94 years old and I have no doubt he could kick my ass if he wanted.

    I fear age has finally caught up to Jack-- I love infomercials and have been watching the ones for his juicer my whole life... they haven't made a new one in 3 or 4 years, but they keep rehashing the last one, adding more footage of the host and happy customers, but never more footage of the man himself.

    Say it ain't so! Jack is one of those constants -like death and taxes - that you expect will always be around. I suppose carrot juice and calesthetics will only get you so far...

    His rival, the Juiceman (can't think of his name right off... Jay Kordich?) died several years ago and he was much younger than Jack...
